Serena and Venus reach French Open doubles final

Seeking their first title here in 11 years, the top-seeded sisters came from behind to beat a third-seeded tandem of American Liezel Huber and Spaniard Anabel Medina Garrigues 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 at Stade Roland Garros.

The Williams' opponent in the final will be a 12th-seeded duo of Czech Kveta Peschke and Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik, as they came from behind to upset the second-seeded team of Spaniards Nuria Llagostera Vives and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 in Wednesday's other semifinal.

Serena and Venus are a perfect 11-0 in Grand Slam doubles finals, including a victory at the Aussie Open back in January. They captured three of the four major titles last year.

Friday's winning team will split $390,000.
